If you fail to attend three appointments within a rolling 12-month period, you may be contacted by the Practice to discuss this. Repeated non-attendance could result in your registration with the Practice being reviewed and, in some circumstances, you may be removed from our patient list.

Missed appointments have a significant impact on NHS services. Did Not Attend (DNA) appointments cost the NHS over £1 billion each year, with wasted GP appointments alone estimated to cost more than £216 million annually. Every missed appointment is time that could have been offered to another patient in need of care.

If you are unable to attend an appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so that it can be offered to someone else. By cancelling unwanted appointments, you can help us provide a more efficient service for all our patients.
